Blackwater Canoe Rental Policy


Blackwater Canoe Rental wants your river and camping experience to be a safe and happy one. We ask all of our guests to use common courtesy and good manners while on the Blackwater River and the beaches. 

Policies

The following policies are intended to protect you, other guests, and the state park.
  • Place all litter in a litterbag and keep it in the canoe until the end of the trip.
  • Life vests are provided and we recommend that you use them.
  • Florida law requires CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS OF AGE TO WEAR A LIFE VEST WHILE IN A BOAT.
  • If canoes, paddles, or life vest are damaged beyond the normal wear, you will be expected to pay for the repair or replacement expense.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
  • EVERYONE IS DUE BACK NO LATER THAN 6:00 PM.
  • Just follow the rules of common courtesy and safety, and your experience is sure to be an enjoyable one.
  • WARNING: No alcoholic beverages allowed in state recreation areas.
